I've just noticed this has been released on the main sites video player, but what they hey, it's uploaded now, isn't it?

My new purchase of Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved. That's what i've been up to as of 5 minutes ago. I'll be sure to post some gameplay footage once I get to grips with it (in comparison to the 360 version). I always loved it on the Live Arcade, and though it may not run as well at this moment in time, hopefully with a few updates, it'll run as smooth as it does on my 360.

As of late, i've been playing WarRock. Shock and horror, since GameSpot gave it a 5.5. I know their reasons, but a lot of them have been fixed since, one of the problems being the incredible lag that it once had. You've never seen any lag like it. But apart from that, and some bug fixes etc, it still has the weapon renting system. With your well earned money from promotions, you go to the item shop to buy yourself a new gun. Ah look, an M4A1. I fancy that. But I can only pay to use it for 7 days or 30 days, then it will expire and return to the shop. Mass irritation.

Anyway, as i've been playing WarRock for round about 15 hours this week, i'd like to tell you all a few things. I've noticed that in every match I join, within a few minutes, i'm either being votekicked for "hacking" or for apparently being "laggy" (purely because i've spotted them before they could even look at me and shoot me). I've only ever been kicked twice, it's actually quite amusing reading what all the pathetic kickers have to say about me. They can be nice, though. Instead of wanting to kick me because i'm good (and trust me, it is NOT hard to be good at this game), they ask me what level my other account was. (You go up in levels the more wins you have etc etc. I'm currently Level 6).

WarRock is a free FPS. Apparently, "it's a crossover of Counter-Strike and Battlefield". That I can understand, but not totally agree with. Guns, vehicles, conquest mode, death, explosive planting at certain bombsites, very similar. But the combat isn't as good. All you do is spray, no accuracy involved, and the sniper rifles make you have to shoot ahead of the enemy you are trying to hit. If you want to take down a tank, the rocket launchers the Heavy Weapons role carries are pathetic, and Engineers are barely used. The other roles are Assault, your standard infantryman who mainly goes around kicking ass. Medic, a woman that carries around light weaponry and can heal herself, and others. Finally, the Sniper. This goes without saying.

So, go check it out if you want to. I ask you to at leaast try it for a day or so, if you're into FPS. What's the harm in it, it's free! (Unless you pay for premium membership, but don't worry about that). Ask me anything you like on the subject of WarRock, or anything for that matter!
