I'm not trying to start an argument or bash gays or anything. I started thinking in biology the other day. If people are born gay does that make it a genetic thing? And if so, is there a gay gene? Again, I'm not trying to start anything, just trying to further my understanding.

I don't think scientists have found such a gene. And there have been gay-people who have "abandoned the gay lifestyle", though I suspect they may still experience fleeting homosexual attractions.

Every once and a while liberal feminists like to call Pro-life Christians the "Christian Taliban". Just recently some liberal groups have taken to calling Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell "Taliban Bob" because he signed into law a bill that would require women to undergo an ultrasound before having an abortion.
But here is the irony. While these liberal feminists like to liken pro-life Christians to the Taliban, the Taliban have actually forced a woman to abort her child (and then they killed her, all because they thought she was an adulteress).
So maybe people should be more careful in comparing pro-lifers (or any American group for that matter) to the Taliban. The Taliban most certainly are not pro-life, either towards the pre-natal or the post-natal. They will kill who they don't like. Most Americans will not.
