Means i can't use.
And thats the only ethernet input on the computer :(
Any thoughts on what else i could do?

Took me like 5 mins to get the spaces right on post before but spaces don't let you double space on this.

Oh okay, for the picture of the router, i think if you look closely at the ethernet input on the very right you may be able to see WAN.
I've got a spare ethernet cable from the ps3, i had to buy a 15m cut6.
So all i need now is pretty much a spare ethernet castle spot.
HOLY HELL!! nice work on the diagram, thanks a bunch for the effort into that, i noticed you didn't use the WAN slot on the router, that one has to be put in, i think by the router.
The router only came with 1 ethernet cable, so what your saying is i just gotta put the router cable into the computer then try? (cause the rest is already done, except ethernet cable from modem goes into the router WAN slot.
I use auto, custom takes too long, i tried that once and nothing good came from it for the time i spent on it.
I just found the booklet for the router.
You sure i need an ethernet cable in both? Because theres only 1 ethernet cable spot for computer or mode, the "WAN" input bit.
There are 4 others but they are the other external ones for shared internet (4 labelled 1 - 4)
God i wish i could take a photo, save alot of explaining.
My modem is connected to the router using an ethernet cable.
My router is connected to the 8x wall plug-in and the modem
My modem is connected to the computer using a grey cord, sorry i don't know the name, its the one located under the ethernet spot on modem.
