[QUOTE="EnpiseE-02"]Here let me play your game

If Bill Gates hadnt horded all the money in the first place and instead given his employees higher wages/making products cheaper for the everyday person he wouldnt HAVE to give money to the poor.  Hes just giving back the money he stole in the first place.

Its just to bad he made so many people suffer for so many years before deciding it was mean and he should give the money back to them.

Huh? Do you know how well paid Microsoft employees are? Look at all the billionaires that have come out of that company. The majority of Microsoft employees are practically millionaires.

If Capcom and Sony has taught us anything it's that you should never take anything corporations have to say at face value.

Having both the GTA franchise and the Halo franchise - the only two franchises that actually really matter in the west - exclusive to only the 360 would be the ultimate death knell for the PS3. You can almost smell the fear on cows' faces right now

Blizzard is my absolute favorite developer. With Blizzard quality is always number one. They won't release a title unless it's a guaranteed instant classic. Just look at the number of titles they had to cancel just because those titles didn't meet their high standards of quality (that Warcraft adventure game and StarCraft: Ghost being the two I can think of off the top of my head). Even the expansion packs they release are AAA. Sure they're slow at releasing new titles, but would you rather have Blizzard emulate some those other companies where if a franchise is hot they'll release sequel after sequel (and spinoffs) trying to cash in on that franchise as much as possible and not even care about quality?

For some reason cows think the PS3 will do well in Europe when it isn't even doing that well in its home country Japan, where it has the cheapest price tag I might add. Go ahead and keep hyping cows. It makes the ownage easier later on.

[QUOTE="needlesmcgirk"]I don't understand how the 360 version can receive an update that gives it all nese features from the PS3 version. it clearly says on IGN that: "the PS3 version has been optimized to take advantage of the Cell processor and hardware that the system offers. As a result, the game runs a lot faster than the 360 build." Not sure that you can just patch the 360 and it all the sudden becomes a more powerful system...

That's because you have no idea how 3D engines and shaders work. There have been plenty of examples in the PC gaming space where patches have improved the frame rate and graphics of a game all without requiring a system upgrade. If there's one game on the 360 where I believe a patch can improve frame rate and graphics then it's Oblivion. Bethesda just isn't well-known for well-optimized 3D engines. Just look at Morrowind and all the subsequent patches it had to go through to get that game playable. There's certainly plenty of room for improvement in Oblivion's graphics engine.

Having to spend an extra year trying to get the PS3 version up to par the with the 360 version is sort of the opposite of ownage IMO. Of course with the extra development time in trying to get the PS3 version to the match the 360 version the developers were able to refine their shader codes making them more efficient and effective. Remember that most developers are still relatively new to coding shader algorithms for real time 3D graphics. What you all should realise is that these shader algorithm optimizations will also benefit the 360 version via a patch. In any case, I say we should wait until the PS3 version is released and the 360 version is patched before any comparisons between the versions are made; though I'm willing to bet the 360 versions will still have the better visuals (most shaders affect how textures look) and frame rates since its GPU has the better shader performance.
