I will admit, this freaked me out a bit. It had the creepy abandoned hospital setting that always scares me. The monsters were creepier because of it. I'm looking forward to seeing more.
@Grbonjic ZeniMax owns both the developer making this game (Tango Gameworks) and Bethesda so they are probably have both of those studios add stuff to it.
@Grenadeh @Joutja @YearoftheSnake5 Aye, I knew about all that. I'm an archaeology student so I've spent some time learning about the Celts. Sadly not a lot about the Romans or the rest of the Mediterranean cultures but I know a bit about them from my own research.
The Britons were once the Gallic so it really isn't surprising and the Gauls were pretty much western Germanic. There were culture differences due to locations but in a time when each village almost had its own culture, not huge differences. The Romans were an amalgamation of most of the cultures they met and conquered.
I've also got a couple of books on ancient European Warfare. :P I'm a history geek.
@airboard360 @Joutja @Shanks_D_Chop Yeah, but Shanks has a point. Game developers do finish a good bit before the release date to give time for the finished product to be compiled, put onto disk and distributed. However, a release date has usually been announced by now unless the publisher part of this game are withholding that info for a bit longer.
@YearoftheSnake5 @Joutja Very true. And we don't want clone factions when we can have the full bananza of uniqueness. I've been playing Rome over the last week, the latest Rome " news putting me back there and fighting any non-Roman and you're mostly fighting the same faction with different colours. Either a Gaul or Greek clone.
@YearoftheSnake5 @Joutja Aye, I suppose that's one reason but surely it's not that much of a difficulty to put the ability to be Pontus straight off. Would the same as allowing control of Egypt or something, wouldn't it?
