I'm trying to learn how to play "Hurt" by Johnny Cash and I can't seem to get the Am, c, or d chords to work properly. tips?

I've been at it for barely two days so obviously I'm horrifically terrible but I can almost play Good Riddance by Greenday...so there's that...

Uhm, my question to you OT issss, if I am consistent and practice a lot how long until I start to get more comfortable, and also, what should I focus on practicing or should I just wing it.

I just finished the second Hunger Games book and I'm about to finish up the third. Might read the Underland Chronicles or just go to the library and mill around till i find something

Holy crap, I started the first Hunger Games book yesterday and I'm already 300 pages into the second. This is the first time since Abarat that I've fallen in love with a fantasy book. OT have you read them? They're not very sophisticated or anything but they're just a great read. Check them out if you haven't already and if you have what are your thoughts?
