If it's any consolation for the kid, Jesus would have been kicked out of the school too.

Wow, everyone hates this for no reason. It added ESPN which is awesome and its moving much faster. Do you really care that much about how the dashboard that you look at for 5 seconds looks?

Reality is what it is and isn't changed by our perception of it, so I don't think that the marker would change from red to blue just because everyone says it is blue.rragnaar

But we only know red as red because our society says it is. There is no way that that color occurred in nature and it had RED written on it. If everyone believed it to be so then it would be red to them but to you its blue. Pretty simple I think.

why don't you get a real job? First you tried to be a musician, and that doesn't work so you say, "Oh well, guess I'll just be a professional athlete." Doesn't work like that.

Boxing is really about stamina, speed, agility and being fast on your feet rather then just brute force. I'd imagine you'd be in the heavyweight division with other people around the same size as you so you won't have that much of a upper hand on anybody else you're fighting unless they are much smaller then you which is unlikely given the weight divisions. I'd imagine you are a mesomorph (naturally athletic) which is good, wish I could say the same as I'm in between a Ecto and a Meso but honestly if you want to get into boxing just go down to your local boxing club and talk with the coaches.

If you want to really prepare yourself you should buy a punching bag, run, do some strength training, do lots of ab exersises, skip rope, run some more and did I mention running?

XileLord

Thats one of hte reasons that I want to do because just to average I'll be in amazing shape for basketball.

Well first you need a place that teaches u, you'll start with the basics, posing it may seem gay but in boxing the pose defines everything, the position of your feet is quite a factor to determine wether you win or lose If you take a look closely boxers don't just walk around the ring, if you look at their feet you'll notice they move in a different way, you'll first need to move that way. To be more agile, if I may say. It's a little uncofortable at first but you'll adapt second you might get hit a lot and you may faint, a lot but don't let that scare you it's part of the process, scared already? :PDarthkaiser

Oh not at all haha. I got knocked out cold this summer by a 6'11 300 lb kid named Al at one of our basketball camps. Elbowed me right in the back of the head, then fell over me and landed on top of me. It wasn't even that bad either. Just a headache for a few days.
