Glad about the damage modeling, because that's my favorite part about NASCAR games: beating the crap out of other cars by ramming and blocking the raceway. The games are pretty good themselves, too.

Yeah that one picture I posted where the wheel is all bent and the right front sheet metal is just gone really has me intrigued about how much carnage will be created when the big wreck at Daytona or Talladega or Bristol happens. Hopefully this won't encourage people to drive backwards online....*worried*
Sounds boring, they should put Nurburgring in, you'd not of been able to do half a lap. :D (and more than one boring car model)
Inconsistancy
Well technically it is 4 car models but if you had paid attention to my post you would have seen that the interiors are all different because they are modeled after the driver's actual car. This means the gauges, ignition boxes, head rests, mirrors, etc are all unique to that car. Therefore it's like there are 43 different car models. Plus, there's over 100 different paint schemes AND we get to download the 2011 cars for free. Sure those are small things but these cars are just like they are in real life so I think ETX did an excellent job. BTW, I raced the ring on GT5 in that special NASCAR event and it was nuts! I'd love to have that in NASCAR 2011 but it just doesn't really fit.

I haven't been to a NASCAR race, but I've been to other racing events so I do know there is a huge difference from seeing it on TV. Though I've just never had an interest in it. Well NASCAR isn't for everybody but I am a big fan of other types of motorsports and I have to admit going to a NASCAR Talladega race is probably one of the most awe-inspiring events I have ever been to. Hearing almost 200,000 people cheering as 43 cars scream by at around 200mph is just an amazing experience.

Lucky for you that NASCAR has 2 road courses then. Still not really interested for the moment, not really my kind of racer. For the most part I only like arcade racers. Ah, yeah I reckon most people on here would.
Meh...V8 supercars are exciting but so is NASCAR. I think NASCAR is more exciting but I know not everyone else does. The game though is looking very very good and I hope the people reviewing the game will take into account what appears to be some amazing technical achievements with damage. Its good news for fans, though I can't stand NASCAR :P Its just plain awful imo. Have you been to a race? Watching it on t.v. is nothing like seeing it in person.
