@MastermindGUy @Judge-Albel @CKeen666 @Albaficas @lilcurt1978 They'll also ask "how much does it cost" When someone tells you that everything costs extra including using your OWN cable service you already pay for . That swings you to a different tune.
Casual families aren't as stupid and easy to lead as you seem to think they are.
Plus I haven't said anything arrogant at all. Microsoft has. I've done nothing but tell the truth based on facts. And a cheer heard round the world beats a lot of things. Plus wont outsell on consoles but will out profit? How does that even make sense to you. I doubt they'll even sell A million, that aren't bought by MS to make the market look better.
@MastermindGUy @Judge-Albel @CKeen666 @Albaficas @lilcurt1978 I highly doubt you have a Master's degree in anything. As for what stands out to families? I can tell you tons of families don't like being told what to do for 100 more bucks. Most casual families will buy the cheaper console anyway. Nothing stood out in the MS conference either. Also how do you know none of us are parents, husbands, wives? You don't.
Some of us have families and will definitely be telling other families not to get this. Trust me word of mouth will travel fast enough.
@MastermindGUy @Judge-Albel @telaros The positives of this only exist in a completely digital age. Which are complete connectivity among all gamers and unified networks. Unfortunately this is not the right time to make the move and definitely not halfway . Steam is steam there are many sells that we're not even sure MS will do. Plus the ENTIRE thing is digital. And PC always has been. You can't complain about what you never had.
It's just way too soon to do this. Especially while trying to keep disc presence.
@telaros Haha I totally understand man. I personally try not to so I don't give the already crazy people promoting something like this some kind of fuel for the fire ya know?
And yeah the small businesses over here are the same. And the sales are always great (including the classic systems and games you can buy.) It sucks that a policy like this is trying to worm its way around. It's going to get worse when MS makes their own"ecosystem" for selling and trading games via Microsoft. So MS makes all the money and people are rewarded via Pixels that doesn't even count as real money.
When I see people agreeing with this sort of thing it makes me wonder how crazy you have to be to think the small bit of good (especially in a age of still physical media) and one or two exclusive games can outweigh all the bad this involves.
