Well, I can't speak for all Americans but I thnk of the USA as MY world because its where I live, you know? Every country has stereotypes, its not like America doesn't hav stereotypes either and you don't really need to go to that country to make stereotypes. Lastly, who cares if 20% of USA has a passport, I don't need to leave the country therefore I don't need a passport.

The thing that irritates me personally is that the US, although the largest superpower in the world, is still a long way behind in the social department compared to other western countries. Their stance on gay marriage, healthcare, euthanasia and abortion for example just sucks. The thing that I also find a little scary is that a lot of things are based on faith. For example, one of the main selling points for the new republican candidates is their faith/religion. To me, that's a little sad. I don't mind them being religious, but your faith isn't going to run a country, that's irrational. Other than that, I don't have that many problems with the US, Americans are usually pretty friendly and helpful and they are a great ally to many countries.

You are very ignorant if you say Christians think gays are evil by nature. In fact, last Sunday at mass we prayed for gays that they are not discriminated against or tormented.
