Ever since Call of Duty 4's popularity skyrocket, there has been disgustingly gratuitous ammounts of first person shooters that attempt to go for what Call of Duty achieved. Now that Skyrim has essentially raised the series' popularity to new levels, does anyone sense an RPG "fad" among developers next, much like the heaps upon masses of "Call of Duty clones"?

It can only get worse from here. dlc is just something ADDITIONAL to the game. You bought the game the devs intended for you to play and anything else is just a bonus. The only good thing about elite is that because we all know map packs and stuff are expected , u might as well get elite and get them for cheaper. You don't understand. The more greedy developers realize that DLC sells, the less they will put into the game, and the more they will hold from the vanilla game for DLC. It's gotten worse over the years, and with all the people buying into it, I can't see it getting any better for us, the consumers.
