Give borderlands a try its really fun and it has RPG elements. Others I can think of are Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas which are two of my favourite games.

Just got it and its pretty fun, but people are really annoying. Everyone time I got in a car it either got blown up by some douche or somehow glitched out in the ground and than exploded.

Havn`t really heard anything about this, but maybe i`ll check it out.

Its a good game and one of my favourites, but recently I started to play Blacklight Retributions.. its free on steam and I have been having a lot of fun. Its more of a small map kind of game, sort of like CoD. I would definetely recommend BF3, but you should give Blacklight a look and see if you like it.

I would just wait until GW2 comes out, or get something like Tera.

I would recommend Fallout 3 (My favourite Fallout game) and Fallout New Vegas. Also if you havn't played Skyrim yet, than definetely give that a go. I have played 100+ hours of Skyrim and I'm still enjoying it!
