I can see if the console was the 1st released of the gen but it wasn't... it was released a year after the 360 when most developers are now ready to make next gen games... and it still only has 37 games :lol:

The ps3 does have a slower rate of which games are released. but that could be due to dev problems with the complicated ps3 technology. It doesn't really mean that the 360 is better, or that the ps3 is worse. or vice versa who has more games.

it's the quality and the exclusivity of the games that really matter.

And at this point the PS3 has neither the quality nor the quantity in it's library. People don't pay $600 bucks to "just wait" they pay $600 bucks for great games and gamingNOW!!!

The PS3 right now is one of the biggest flops in the history of gaming. Now it could pan out, but as of right now the PS3 has been nothing but a gimmic that hasn't lived up to expectations

360 does have more AAA and AA titles yes. And yes, the ps3 isn't doing so hot at the moment. But neither was the 360 around this time in the 360's life. it's just too early to say its the biggest flop in gaming history when it isn't even a year old.

Games come out at a faster rate in the second year of a console's life b/c devs know more about it.

very true. It may take longer for most devs to get used to the ps3. but games will come faster and faster.
