All the info is in that link.
But the only reason I made this topic was to clarify that this new product has nothing to do with gaming, or the 360 or vista. So in other words, I'm trying to stop confusing and an epic amount of new topic button clicking. (I don't want another MGS4 disaster)
If you must talk about it try and keep it here and avoid from flooding the forum.
Once again, this has no effect on the 360 or the console war.
Thank you :)
[QUOTE="Zhengi"][QUOTE="drsports1980"][QUOTE="TrueReligion_"]A DS Table!VandalvideoThat costs 10,000 dollars. The innovation!?! This tech has been around forever.........and cheaper as well...........with voice recognition........and works with Warcraft 3........yeah.
IT'S NOT FOR GAMING!.
jeez, I thought it was obvious that the announcement was not for gaming or the 360.
It said it had to do with mobile devices and entertainment. or something to that affect.
I highly doubt it. Im probably not going to pick it up since I got the GC version.p3anut
Doubtful, I mean look at halo 2 for vista, it is essentially the same game but with more features, im sure if it came out around the same time the original halo 2 came out it would have done much better. RE4 was an AMAZING GAME, it really was but since it has been out so long I don't think it will get the same score like it did. Granted it will still be amazing, but reviewers will keep in mind that it has been done before and it's just the same thing with new controls.
I think the controls are going to be sweet, I can already picture the context sensitive buttons to do something like run, duck from a knife, or jump out a window. I can see that being implemented perfectly.
[QUOTE="VideoGamer1979"]I guess no one has told you that Sony doesn't make videogames, they are a hardware company.Owning both consoles ever since the PS2/Xbox days and now I own both the PS3 and 360 ive came to the conclusion that Sony's games are just overall made better. For example.. While Gears and halo are great games the overall story feels like a low budget action movie. While Games such as God of war 2 feel like a truely epic high budget movie along with Ratchet and clank which feels like your right in a animated movie and so far Uncharted, Heavenly Sword and Lair look More like high budget movies. I guess since sony has a big part in the movie industry they bring some of that talent into gaming as well.
Again I think both Gears and halo are great games but when I play them I feel like im playing a video game but when I play games such as God of war 2, ico/shadow of the collosus and Ratchet and clank, they have more of a cinematic edgy feel to them. Anyone else notice this? You have to admit that while Halo and Gears are amazing titles they are just your typical cliche action/shooter games. I mean where are all the good action/adventure titles for the 360. Games like God of war, heavenly sword, Ico/SOTC etc, shooters are great but what about variety?! How come the 360 just has racers and shooters for the most part?! Lets see all of 360s biggest titles are Lost planet-Shooter, Halo-Shooter, GRAW and rainbow six-both shooters, Gears Shooter- Forza racing, PGR-Racing, Perfect Dark zero-Shooter, Prey-Shooter.
I mean sure Kameo, ok big deal. ONE medicore platformer type game. But still nothing as amazing as ico and God of war franchise. Its kind of hard to explain. Ok its like this, When I play Gears of war its like im watching a movie like Rambo, a lot of action but not that much substance. However when I play sony's games I feel like im watching a movie like Face/Off a movie with amazing action AND SUBSTANCE with an amazing story.

I was waiting for someone to say it, I said it subtly, but a little too subtle I think.
The topic creator is correct.
The only first party 360 game i want is halo 3 i'm not sure if microsoft publishes lost odyssey. If mass effect and bioshock were coming out on ps3 i'd probably reconsider getting getting a 360 halo 3 wouldnt be enough. Right now i have enough for a 360 but nothing at all interests me.
In terms of variety and quality, sony first party easily wins. Nintendo....well lets not go there

U R T3H FUNNAY!
but really, I understand it's your personal preference, but when it comes to the majority of people the 360 has currently the highest rated, highest selling, most enjoyed and most anticipated games.
But who knows, that could change. But I haven't heard many people say, "The 360 doesn't have anything good yet, nor does it have anything good coming out lately." It's usually the other way around, but hey it's your opinion.
That's my 2 cents!

come back to me when you have some games sony actually was a part of for the ps3.
As you know Microsoft is planning to lower the price of the 360, and there is also speculation that Sony will also cut their price. Also, as you all know both of those systems are being sold at a loss. As of right now, the Wii's main selling point is it's low price and even then, it is still making profit for the companie. Now what would happen is the Wii also lowers it price?
What kind of impact will this have on 3rd party support? Do you think even more people will purchase it?
Comments? Predictions? Flames?

The wii has no reason to lower it's price. It wont happen.
Sony wont lower the price on the PS3 either, they are losing too much money to do it. It's out of the question.
MS is starting to make a profit and getting them selves out of the red now, they are really the only people who could drop their price. Nintendo could hypothetically drop theirs as well, but there is no chance that they would.
It's actually coming from the mobile devices and entertainment departement.
So I highly doubt it will be something that is souly based on the 360.
