Because if you have lag, it is your fault. It's your own internet connection.

I'm curious how you see it as my fault my PS3 has lag on some games. My 360 and my PS3 sit right next to eachother, and they are both ethernet wired into the same router. They are both on the same thing the same way.

So your saying if both systems are ethernet wired into the same router, and the 360 has less lag, the PS3 has more lag, its the internet connection? Not sure how that makes sense.

So I have both a PS3 and a 360, both hooked up to the same router, and I have 10mbps internet. Recently my 360 gave me the RROD for the third time, so back for repair it goes. Off topic, my 360 has died 3 times in 18 months, and my PS3 has died twice in 12 months, so to me, they both break down about the same.

Back to my topic, because I am without my 360, which is what I have COD WaW on, and it is the game I play the most, I rented COD WaW on my blockbuster pass for the PS3 to play until my 360 gets repaired or replaced.

Now after playing COD WaW on the 360 since it was released, and now playing it on the PS3, I have noticed online with the PS3 is really bad compared to the 360 online.

With the 360 online, I maybe have lag issues or games dropping because it says no acceptable host found about once every couple weeks, so very rarly. However, on the PS3, COD WaW cannot keep a decent connection ever. On the PS3, the online games are almost always laggy, and at least a half dozen times an hour, the game lobbies close due to no acceptable host.

There is really no comparison for COD WaW online between the 360 and PS3 as the PS3 version online is almost un-playable.

This got me wondering what other games on both the 360 and PS3 are like this. Since I am without my 360 for a couple weeks, I rented some other games I have on the 360 for the PS3, such as GTA IV, COD Modern Warfare, and Fracture to name few.

What I have experienced with the PS3 is, online is really bad compared to the 360.

I actually find this kind of odd because the PS3 does fine with Socom and Warhawk, but those both run off Sony servers, so I guess that makes a differnce.

Anyway, if it is a third party game, I will stay away from it on the PS3 becasue chances are the online portion will be almost worthless. First party Sony games seem to work perfect, but for all other games, I gotta go with the 360 for the best online gaming.

I wanted to see if anyone has played the same game on a 360 and a PS3 and see if anyone else has noticed the same thing, or if its maybe just me.

I have a lot of systems, so I rotate the old ones to try and give a little variety.

Right now hooked up to my tv is a PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, PS2, Sega Saturn, Sega Genesis, and Atari 2600. I would have more hooked up, but my tv ran out of inputs.

In my closet waiting to be rotated in is a Turbo Grafix 16, a NES, a Super Nintendo, and an Intelivision.

I also have a "fat" PSP and a gamer laptop. I actually never use the laptop though, my girlfriend is always using it for her stuff.

I wouldn't care at all. I'm 36, my girlfriend is 34, and we have lived together for about 10 years now. Neither of us wants children, so it would make no difference to me.

I actually think there are to many children in the world right now that don't get taken care of, and adding more children to the mix is not going to help. I guess me and my girlfriend don't have the drive to produce children, but then again we are both adopted.

No babies, no worries.

I met my girlfriend who I have lived with for 10 years now in college. It took me over a year to get her to go out on a date with me. She told all my friends that she thought I was a sleeze because I always seemed to have a differnt girl with me everytime she saw me, and she knew who my girlfriend at the time was, but I never seemed to take her anywere.

Anyway, I asked her out for over a year, always being turned down. About a year and a half after I started trying to get her to go out with me, I saw her at a mutual friends wedding. We talked most the day, and she said she really had no reason to turn me down, as I was always nice and polite to her.

Being a bit drunk, she finally agreed to go out with me at the wedding we were at. After our first date, she decided I was a pretty nice guy, and its now 11 years later, 10 of those living together.

She says I'm still a sleeze, just a lovable sleeze.

I got mine from gamestop the first month it came out. I just sent my third 360 back to microsoft, for the thirs RROD. I am on my third ps3, and will now be on my 4th 360. My wii, drop it, kick it, throw it and it still works perfect.

Also, my 360, ps3, wii, psp, and ps2 were all bought for me by my girlfriend, the last system I bought myself was the original playstation 1.

Ok, so my mom got my dad a ps3 for christmas, just for the blu-ray player. Also because I told her, we could video chat if they had one in their house, which my mom thought was cool to do through the tv.

Anyway, I go to their house for christmas, and hook it all up for them, we watch a couple blu-ray movies, and everybody thought it was way cool. Because I knew they would have it, I took a few games with me to play if the opportunity came up, which it did.

My 65 year old dad who has never played a video game in his life, was watching me play COD WaW. Well, now my dad really wants to, as he put it, learn to play blow em up games. The entire time he was watching me play, he kept repeating, thats so ****** cool.

Anyway, next weekend, I'm going over to my parents house, and my dad keeps calling and asking me if I'm going to bring a blow em up game and teach him how to play it. Now I figure there is no way he is going to be able to handle any COD, GTA, etc.. as those will be way to hard for him with all the weapon and gear load outs and changes.

To make a short story long, I need to find a first or third person shooter, that is really easy, with little or no weapon choices, or gear options, you basically run and pull the trigger with very little resistance or challenge. As it is, that will be pretty tough for my dad to deal with as it is.

If you know of any easy and good visual shooters, first or third, that pretty much force you to use a gun the game assigns and gives you no customization options, please let me know. I am hoping to find something that will be really easy so my dad will want to try other games from there.

Thanks for any input.

Seeing as Republicans were in full control of the government for 6 of the last 8 years, its pretty hard to say its not their fault. Luckily most of America can see with their own eyes how this happened. Republicans are the champions of de-regulation, they want to de-regulate everything.

They de-regulated the phone companies, and for 20 years, we all got to have crap phone service. They de-regulated the airline industry, and for that we get planes that are un-safe, always late, and price hiking across the board. They de-regulated the banking industry twice, we got to see the S&L collapse almost 20 years ago, and then for their encore, we got the current mess were in. They de-regulated the power and electricity industry, and for that, we got Enron turning power off and price gouging everyone.

The fact is, Republicans are trying to bankrupt the country, it is part of the plan. Republicans do not want the government to provide anything for its citizins, they want everyone to be on their own. Having a belief system of everyone for themselves is just a clever way to say, if your poor, you don't deserve medical care, housing, education, or anything else. By having policies that continue to make it harder and harder for the government to fund any social programs make it very easy to say, see, the government is a failure, we need to get rid of it.

Luckily, the Republicans have shown the entire country what their policies lead to, and luckily, the public now sees the lying liars for what they are.

If Rush is someone without any influence on the Republican party, then why did congressman Phil Gingrey have to go on Rush's show and grovel for his forgivness after he publicly disagreed with Rush?

People with no influence do not have U.S. congressmen crawling to then on their hands and knees begging for forgivness.

When it comes right down to it, conservatives only have insults to back up their policy positions, because any real discussion will show how little they really have to offer.

The Masons are the main source for the U.S. constitution, and most laws. The corner stone of the White House, the first stone laid has the Masonic symbol on it. The majority of Presidents and congressmen are Masons, something like 70%. There are also two types of Masons, the free and accepted Masons, as well as the free and accepted ancient Masons. The Masons were formerly the Templars, did you see the movie on TV, and after the Inquisition and burning at the stake of DeMolay, they morphed into the Masons to protect thier brothers and hide their wealth.

The Masons are very wealthy, everything they use is old and real. When I was a DeMolay, a Masonic youth organization, the bible we used was about 400 years old. The Masons do posses great wealth to this day, but it is not in one place like National Treasure said. The treasures of the Masonic Lodge are dispersed around the globe, held by the many Masonic Lodges. All the lodges have a bit of treasure, but they use it all in their rituals, its all symbolic.

Masons do get hooked up though, just as in any social club. A Mason judge can put a Mason in jail, but a Mason cannot willingly take advantage of another member. If you go into a jewerly store for example, and you notice the owner has a Masonic ring, when you show your ring and tell him what lodge your are from, all of a sudden, all the prices go to cost. A Mason will not profit off another Mason.
