I've had it for 5 years(not the slim one), played the best games, and now the PS3 era is here. I've played: Jak and Daxter series, MGS 2-3, DMC 1-3, Ratchet and Clank 1-4, God of War 1-2, Final Fantasy X(haven't finished FF12), and a lot of other good games. I can't think of any other good games that I should check out; is my PS2 now useless? I don't think I"ll really need it, God of War 2 was the last big game, and I just finished that. If I get like $50-$70 for my PS2+controllers+games, should I do that?RyuHayabusaX

Trust me you haven't played the best yet. Ico, Shadow of Col, Okami, Rogue Galaxy, kingdom hearts1-2, Resident Evil 4,.....

There are sooo much more games out there for the ps2 taht it can easily last you another year or 2 in next gen era.
