I can appreciate the things it did right (environment was beautifully designed, very realistic, night and day progression, fire mechanics), but everything that it did wrong (pretty much everything else.... mission structure, story, shooting mechanics, malaria, driving for upwards of 30 minutes between missions, AI, etc) absolutely destroyed the experience. $15 or less, I say get it just for the first couple hours when you will be enamored with it, but don't expect to finish it. raven_squad

Did you ever think of taking a bus? 30 minutes isquite the exageration there.There was I think 4 located across the map and at everyone was a jeep. Not once did it take me longer than perhaps 10 minutes to get to a mission...even that would be pushing it.

Also, what is wrong with malaria lol? I mean, you are in Africa after all, right?...AI wasn't that bad on higher difficulties either. The only pain was getting sniped at a mile away.

As for not expecting someone to finish it. I own around 21 ps3 games and I have beaten 6 (very close on many others). So it would befair to say that I am easily distracted. With that being said, I beat FC2 in under a week.

I guess if you want an FPS game that will hold your hand and guide you through stage levels you should stay away from FC2.

its a dungeon based action adventure game, where there is an open hub world that leads to the different dungeons and you are required to collect items that allow you to access new parts of the world and to beat the bosses in each dungeon. Sound familiar? Even the developers in a number of interviews said specifically that its like Zelda, hell they even have the Z targeting from Zelda and it looks just like it with the highlight arrow above the enemies head lol. And Ocarina of time just might be my favorite game of alltime. If darksiders can come any where close to its greatness we will all be in for a good time!

Hrmmmm, if I could only buy 2 it would be Demon's Souls and Uncharted 2.

Tough choices

I mean dang in the next 3 months I will be purchasing...Demon's souls, Uncharted2, Dragon Age: Origins, MW:2, OP:Flashpoint, NG2. couldn't see myself narrowing it down to solely 2 lol

To sum it all up, I paid full price for it on release date and was fully satisfied with my purchase. If you found it in the bargain bin I would suggest picking it up!

Yeah for one reason or another it sounds to me like you need to reset your ps3 as a few others have mentioned on here. Once you reset it by holding the power on for about 5-7 seconds (till u hear the double beep or w.e) it should recognize the hdmi set up and than just select that.
