Bah, I personally hate these "digital" libraries that we seem to be moving towards.

What happens if your hard drive gets FRIED? Gotta download everything again? peace that ish.

Not to mention most games when downloaded digitally only give you like a max of 4 installs or so. Outrageous practices.

the only answer I can think of is emulation.

Sony should have just dropped Blu-Ray and kept the Emotion engine in if cost is an issue.

The difference between playing on an SDTV and an HDTV is like night and day.

I would suggest grabbing a ps3 first and playing it on the TV you already have. Than once you get some pennies saved up, pick yourself up like a 32/37 inch HDTV for the ps3.

Your other option would be to buy the HDTV now (you can get good ones for pretty cheap now) and save your money up for the ps3 until they release the Slims.
