NHL09 is easily the best hockey game I've ever played. That's saying a lot too, I've been playing since the Blades of Steel/NHL94 days.

Been playing the game for about 6 hours and it looks fabulous.

Just a note about it though....I really need to get myself to do the quests lol. I just wonder round using the VATS system all day lollll.

Dude, go the NHL 09 route ;).

Nothing is more satisfying really then going head to head with a buddy in an NHL game (any sports game for that matter).

Plus you're replay value is ridiculous with NHL games. You can play mulllllltiple seasons, dynastys, I think there is a "b a pro" mode. Which is suppose to be somewhat similar to how MLB the Show is done (...creat a player, bring him up through the minors and such...). Also online play....

Uncharted is a personal fav of mine, but since you have beaten it already AND are looking for a sports game. NHL 09 is the choice.

Personally I like to purchase and collect my games. So far this gen the only game I *kind of* regret buying was SH:Homecoming, I've played like 30 minutes of it lol...*shrug*

Anyways, for those who don't like to collect games this is a great deal. Would be nice to see if they are running this at canadian bestbuys.

I haven't played the game in months, MONTHS. However, I can tell you that this game has a pretty steep learning curve and you might get put off because of this at first.

KapG said he thinks VC looks like Final Fantasy Tactics, although i thought it was Disgaea that looked like FF Tactics and that is the reason i had become interested in it although I had not played any of the previous Disgaea. I suppose i could buy both, Disgaea now and VC somewhere down the road...So many games I want right now, Resistance 2, Fallout 3, LBP, Dead Space, still thinking about getting Soul Caliber and I just bought NBA 2K9...AlienOverlord

I haven't really seen much of Disgaea 3 to be honest. The reason I say it reminds me of Tactics is because of the turn base moving round the map and stuff (the game obviously differs in the sense of guns vs swords and stuff). Disgaea could very well be more like Tactics, I suppose I need to check it out.
