Hillel I don't understand why you could possibly love this game like it is the most awesome game ever made. You must work for the game company or have really low standards.As a shooter it is pretty average. The enemies all look the same and are pretty bland. The game looks average at times, sometimes its ok. Its like a shooter trying to be GTA but does none of the good things. It gets really old fast. I finally beat the game and played some online but just so I could collect the trophies. Luckily I found some sucker to trade me for Fallout 3 straight up.

I will say this, if Far Cry 2 came out say in the spring time when it is dead then it would be a nice distraction to eat some time but in this holiday season where there are far superior and worthwile games this game should be overlooked. It lacks substance to maintain interest. I am curious to see who actually finishes this game and picks it up again in a few months. This game will be forgotten in a few months and no one will remember it was ever here. It can't even hold the original Far Cry's jock strap. Sorry if you guys have low standards for games. Not me. You can settle for mediocre I will be busy with Little Big Planet, Resistance, Bioshock, Fallout 3, Left for Dead and Gears of War 2.

Resistance was a bore...average at best if you ask me. Your standards must be pretty low if you consider that to be one of the greatest.

Your post was OK until you thought you would try and act cool by saying other people have low standards for gaming but you dont.

i ordered a ethernet cable already and becuase im using wireless you can always lose connection but with wired you dont lose connection do you ?B-L-I-N-G-A-H

bro, use the ethernet cable. It's sooooo much more stable, and IMO faster.

Just writing to say that i was overall disappointed with Ubisoft's Far Cry 2 ,

My main problem was there was just WAY too much travelling to do and when your gun jams in the middle of a firefight that can get very annoying.

I don't mean to nag or put anyone off it's just that i got my hopes up for this game and for me it failed to deliver.

Naw, I can't say I agree. This game has rocked for me.

Sure travelling can be a tad annoying but it hasn't been anything to put me off.

As for the guns jamming, what can I say. Don't use guns you pick up!

I never really liked rumble I find it annoying that every time you hit a wall the controller would start vibrating. Ima get a new controller soon, so I might as well get DS3. I just hope the vibration isn't as annoying as on the PS1 or PS2resistance93

I'm tired of the many threads coming down hard on the PS3 release of Fallout 3. All these people who are yet to get the game just complaing about stuff that they read about. The game has minor graphical glitches, but overall the game runs fine. I'm yet to find a major gameplay issue.

Is there anyone else who actually bought and played the game, and enjoyed it?

I for one am having a blast playing, it's the most fun I've had in an RPG in a long time. Can I get some positive thoughts?

I've got it on the ps3 and I've played a couple hours on it (currently finishing up FC2) and you hit the nail on the head.

Most of the people complaining haven't even touched the game.

Just a bunch of drama queens bro, the game is great.

After waiting for Fallout 3 for soo long this is what they give us? A crappy, glitched up port that doesn't even have trophies, while the x-bot and pc versions both have achievements, Bethesda needs to get their act together and release a game-fixing patch with RETROACTIVE trophies if they want ps3 owners to support them.CombatHigh

unecessary swearing is what it's all about in these types of games :D

I....I didn't check for that; I don't think it does, the cursing shows abit about the characters.

Some of the bonus skills gives you the ability to basically turn your enemies into a pile of blood and guts...so I don't think it has a filter.
