Right...... Just like Killzone was sooooo going to Kill Halo CE and Halo 2. Just because Killzone 2 has nice graphics doesn't mean it's game play or story will be on par.
The XBOX will not die, MS is not abandoning the gaming division so just stop it. Just think if you got your wish and MS and Nintendo were gone and all that was left was the mighty Playstation. What is stopping them from throwing out a new system that cost $700, $800, Hell even $1000. Competition is the best thing in the gaming industry, it keeps companies on their toes and wanting to put out newer and better products. I mean look what happened to Madden once they bought out the NFL license. So it is in Sony fanboys interests and all gamers everywhere that MS stays in the gaming industry.
No offense, but doesn't a game have to reach a certain stander to have such accolades? I mean that is why there are games trying to be "Halo killers" because Halo has a proven track recored of being an awesome AAA franchise. Now the first Killzone pretty much flopped while the second one has great graphics, but we don't know how it plays. So why don't we wait until Killzone 2 comes out before we try to "kill" it.

Obviously you do not know what you are talking about. UFC is one of the hottest sports today and is more than "glorified back yard wrestling." Have you actually watched any MMA?
Anyways that is CGI and wont look like that, but it will look pretty good. I would say it will look just like the wrestlers in Smackdown vs. Raw 2008 seeing as how they are both made by THQ. I am hoping that they finally make a Good UFC game because it will be awesome.

It is ok to have an opinion in all, but at least have an intelligent opinion. That is like me saying KZ2 looks like a XBOX game when obviously it doesn't.
I personally like the Madden series, but hated it when they bought the rights to the NFL. They had no competition to improve the game so the last two have sucked. Hopefully now that 2K is back in the game they will actually try to make a good football game.
