Cause if you have a decent pc you might as well get a ps3. What´s the point of getting an xbox if you have a good pc, ps3 makes more sense.Eddie-Vedder

Again not every gamer likes to play games on the PC. Most casual non hardcore gamers which make up more of the percent of profit for the company's than hardcore gamers have primarily one console or gaming PC they use for gaming. so the whole "People can play 360 games on their PC" doesn't hold that much water with me.

Well not some but most xbox360 games get ported to pc, and frankly as a result, if you have a good pc, getting an xbox360 would be like getting another crippled pc.Gangans

True people can, but I really think that the casual gamers tend to be more console gamers than PC gamers imo. So dose it really effect the 360 sales?

It doesn't bother me at all. What does bother me though is that they're adding new story to the pc version of Gears of Warand the brumak fight, which I was so pissed that I didn't get to fight that thing, I thought that was pure laziness on the developers part(or harassment from ms to get the game out that's probably what it was). Hopefully they release it as some dlc but that's highly doubtful. From what cliffy b said, he said there's new achievements multiplayer and single player story, so they obviously want us to go out and buy it for pc so they can make an extra 50 dollars off of us which is bullcrap. But as far as losing exclusivity or all that bullcrap, it doesn't bother me, the exclusive content does.Mstrchiefpwns

That totally sucks, I really wanted to play those extra chapters so disappointing. Hopefully they will put everything into Gears of War 2 so this doesn't happen again.

Why is it bad? If the games are going to make their way over to PC, then why get a 360?

CyanX73

Because not everybody likes playing games on a PC, some like consoles better.

Other than the exageration of 12 360's, I myself went through three PS2. They charged me to fix the first one and I bought the other two. After that I wen to XBOX.

Is there a chart that displays how many potential customers MS lost because of games being put on a PC? I don't think it is as damaging as most MS bashers would lead people to believe.

Think of it this way. It's just as bad as PS3 exclusives going to the 360.Ibacai

How So?

[QUOTE="foxhound_fox"]Because you won't need to pay MS for hardware to play the games.Dualshockin
Right on the money. No need to go through the Ring Of Death just to play Gears Of War,is how I see it.

You do realize that MS just put out a three year warranty on that right?

True, but why is it so damageing to MS? They obvioulsy are not hurting if they keep porting there big games like Halo or Gears to PC.

Maybe this is just me, but I think it is great that more people get to experience more games. I hear people here say all the time "Why get a 360 when I can play games like Halo and Gears of War on my PC?" My answer: I hope you do and experience some great games, unless you are a fan boy who is just trying to make their console of choice look better. I think it is a pretty cool thing that I can play Gears or Halo online with my 360 against someone on their PC.

It really dose not bother me that some games on the 360 will be on PC, it is not like I share in any of the profit or anything. I play games because they are fun and could care less who else can also play it. so call me crazy but that is what I think.
