You obviously didn't play far enough into Cuddlywinks to get to Mission 6, in which the Gingerbread Scouts invade the Honey Drop Hivemind's Lair with dual rocket launchers, riding on mechanized wooly mammoths, while raping the queen bee during the boss fight and taking the Lord's name in vain. And that's a real shame. It was a very mature and so un-kiddy moment in a deceptivley titled game.

So it's not just Nintendo who has trouble with making sure their developers use their console's capabilities to it's fullest? Sony also has similar problems? Imagine that.

Earlier today I was playing a demo of Virtua Fighter 5 at Wal-Mart, which in itself is a chore having to crane my neck upwards to see the screen. For one thing the game looked very pretty...you could see every bead of manly sweat on the giant black naked guy's chest. Yet the graphics as a whole didn't really make any of the characters look any more real than they did in their previous gen incarnations. I could still see jaggs, and with transitions between animations as the character moves...well, let's say I was immensly aware I was watching a videogame.

Even moreso I noticed the physics really didn't change all that much either. Case in point: when my character kicked the enemy into a wall...my character slided backwards, without moving his feet or anything. He didn't step backwards, he slid backwards. In order to make room for the enemy to fall onto the ground.

I have to kind of scratch my head for a moment and wonder where the next in next gen went. Could someone please point me in the right direction? Is it really just only about seeing sweat and dirt and pores on naked bodies in high def?
