I Believe the Wii is there for the sake of contrast. Everyone would agree with me that if all three competing consoles were Ps3-like in nature, the game industry would be immensly boring, and the only thing anyone would ever debate an argue about is the mundane differences in graphic detail to the pixel, and is that really all that entertaining? It's much more hilarious for people to cry and whine about party games and shootan games than how graphically superior one console is to another when all three consoles look exactly the same in this hypothetical scenario.

We're experiencing this issue with the 360 and Ps3...to the layman's eye, both consoles perform in exactly the same way, and look exactly the same. So where's the argument? Because the Ps3 has some sort of newfangled processor that allows it to take a dump and fry my eggs at the same time, yet the 360 is able to take a dump and poach my eggs instead?

The Wii is vital to the balance of the game industry. Because we can't have an industry full of nothing but $600 space heaters the size of car engines.

I own a Ps2, XBox, Wii, old PC, SNES, NES, Gameboy Color, Dreamcast, n64 and a DS. I turn 20 this Sunday.

I want to get a 360, but so far I haven't been able to afford it.

Because I don't, and frankly games without online multiplayer support should come at reduced priced, just like online only games.

I bough Half-life 2 not because on the single player story mode,no, I bought it because of counter strike: source and till this date I still haven't played the single player mode.I
