If you knowhe took good care of it, you can't go wrong. I like buying new, but for a good deal, I would buy used.

Alright, thanks. In your opinions, if found, is those 80gb bundles worth the $500 price tag?

-Thanks

Is there any disadvantage to these models that are backwards compatible?

There was a 40gb Metal Gear Solid Bundle, and an 80gb bundle, were these backwards compatible?

-Thanks

Looks like a decent deal. It is refurbished though but shold be alright. It is one of those things where; if it works perfectly fine, then you saved a good amount of money, if it doesn't then it wasn't such a good deal. Judging by his feedback, you got a good console.

If a good read isn't biased, find me a good read.....good luck. A good read raises a good topic or argument, and this this case, that is exactly what the original post creates.

I don't have a PS3 yet, but I played Xbox 360 for 2 years, and would discourage it as a console mainly because of the fact that it breaks down very frequently. If you don't mind waiting for it to be repaired, and receiving a refurbished console, whatever. That being said, they don't always have problems, just 1 out of 3 times. Just from my experience.

I had a Sega Genesis, and it was a really good console. Also, for Xbox, I had.....Sega GT, the racing sim, and that was a solid game.

Wow.....you guys are tough. Most of the replies here are very close-minded. It seems like you didn't even read. He stated that at this point of the PS1 and PS2 generation there were people, just like those in the replies here, who were doubters. Sure I think his opinion may not come true, but he has the right to make an opinion, and based on the history of Sony, it isn't far fetched. I can see if those who replied have an alternative opinion, but to say the original post is wrong, and a waste of time is absurd. As I said, I don't agree or disagree in a factual sense, but he does run a good point based off facts, and for that I have to agree with his ideology.
