Just wondering whether or not you guys order consoles online or buy in person when you buy one? I was thinkning about ordering a PS3 but wondering if there is any disadvantage to that besides waiting?
How old were you guys/girls when you starting playing video games? Also, how old were you when you REALLY got into gaming if you ever did?
I was about 6 when I got the Nintendo 64, and I really started playing games alot then with Super Mario 64, but I may have put the most time on PS1 with Gran Turismo 2. I got into online gaming probable in 2003-2004 with Halo 2.
Thanks for the replies. I don't have a working Xbox 360 right now. I voided the warranty by "trying" to fix it myself, haha. Anyway, I also sold all but one of my 360 games for cash after it broke. I bought a used Wii, sold it for a profit, and now it was between PS3 and 360. The PS3 games are VERY appealing to me. I don't know if I have ever had as much interest in a game by previews as I do with Resistance 1, and 2. Also, the ONLY reason I would buy another 360 is that almost all of my friends have them, and none of my friends have PS3s. Halo also is another reason, haha. But I want and will get a PS3 as planned as far as I know.
I know that the failure rate of the 360 is through the roof, and the failure rate of the PS3 is very low. The reason I am switching from 360 to PS3 is because I have had bad luck with the 360. Basically, is the PS3 reliable enough for me to justify this transistion?
Are there many people that play Resistance 2 online. I am not talking about just those reading this. When you play online, are there enough people where you don't have to wait long for a match? Also, do you think this amount of people will stay for a while? Basically, is Resistance a decent, good, or great game for online play?
I don't even have a PS3 yet, but my guess is that there is more surface area for dust horizontally, but when verticle, there are events exposed for dust to fall into if I am correct.
