1. Not all PCs are equal. Just because you have PC that doesn't mean you can play every game with highest settings at 144+ FPS
2. Some games have built in limitations. Skyrim can only use 3.1 gigs of your syetem RAM no matter if you have 4 gigs or 16 gigs, you can't have it all in Skyrim.
3. Some games have ridiculous requirements. Crysis 1 still has trouble on modern day PCs on max settings.
After modding Skyrim for awhile, i got to the point where i discovered all my mods were actually gimmicks. No matter how hard i tried to find that balance, i just couldnt. Ever single mod i had seem to not fit together well after awhile. I then stripped that beast and played Skyrim naked. Good times, vanilla ftw!
Im all about dat gameplay.
Ewwwww if you are playing Skyrim without USLEEP and PerMa you're doing it wrong.
Is there any confirmation yet that consoles are going shift to the smartphone model of hardware? Because that will personally ruin console gaming for me. :( I like the fact that everyone has the same hardware so no one has a hardware advantage, I like the increased stability that comes with having a standard hardware setup, and I like to see huge leaps of technology when new consoles are released.
