[QUOTE="NightGrave"]lol i never heard of this before, a game that actually helps you in real life situations. If brain age was really that helpful im pretty sure they would've announced it on the news on how it helps people.NightGrave

Quite cleary you haven't done a search of the news because Brain Age and it's Japanese version that goes by the name Brain Training have been mentioned a lot of times. I in fact Wii is being used for physical therapy.

lol i didn't mean internet news, im talking tv news. MSNBC semi counts but i have yet to see it on the tv. If it really is such a big deal it's not showing it....and NO im not talking about the internet world here where you have to search just to find out if it's a big deal or not. I see brain age on the market shelfs all the time so it really doesn't convince me to be a popular thing for everyone

Dude, are you serious?! I see commercials for it ALL the time. It always has some random problem-solving equation and then Dr. Kawashima comes up and says, "Quick! Can you solve the prior equation? If not, then you should try Brain Age!" Or something like that, at least.

Also, both the DS and the Wii have been in the news a LOT. The DS (since it's the topic) has been praised by Japanese news anchors who have advertised lots of training games like Brain Age (translators, quizzes, test preps, etc). The states have featured Brain Age on the news before (TV-wise), and I know that they request it for the elderly to test their knowledge.

If you seriously haven't seen anything on TV, then you must be watching Cartoon Network all day. hahaha. Cause every channel I watch has at least the commercial come on EVERY day.

Just wear the straps. Nintendo has overly blessed us with generation after generation of new wrist straps, and they are only for the bettering of the Wii remote experience. We don't want to have another "WiiHaveAProblem.com" website.

I'm a level 7, and I'm Sergeant, Grade 3.

I haven't put a WHOLE lot of effort into it, because I'm also playing the Orange Box and NHL 08. :D

It would be pretty cool. Unlikely, but still pretty cool. But I was more excited that Halo DS was a possibility. hahaha. Still unlikely, but I was WAY more excited than this.

Speaking for those who have been out of school for 5+ years:

Brain Age (both) is actually a phenomenal tool for retrieving learned information. Even though the exercises seem trivial or repetitive, they honestly help reach deep into the brain and bring about some old knowledge that you possibly might have forgotten (or at least can't remember :D). I have benefited greatly from playing Brain Age. I just decided to go back to college and get a Programming Degree, and I was afraid that I wouldn't be mentally prepared for the classroom environment again. But Brain Age has actually helped me to be on par (if not better) than the rest of my classes (whom, by the way, average about 6 years younger than me).

For younger people, I probably wouldn't recommend this, since the brain is still developing and absorbs information like a sponge. But for the latter-young-adult to the elderly, this is a fantastic tool to help retrieve long-ago learned information. A truly great product.

Yeah. Definitely give it a chance. It's a really fun game, and having friends come over and swing that Wii remote around like a real sword is REALLY funny. :D

You obviously have the Chunk (AKA the Phat). Here is the ONLY conclusion to your problem:

- The screen does NOT have dust in it. Reason being; Having seen a DS taken apart, the screen is one-piece (both the bottom and top), this meaning that there is absolutely no way for a piece of dust to find it's way through the glued-side of the screen.

Your only solution to the problem:

- Try and trade it in for SOME credit and get a Lite. Trust me when I say that the Lite is much better than the Chunk. I was skeptical at first until I got to play with my friend's lite over a year ago. I immediately traded my Chunk in for a Lite. Best decision I ever made in my video-gaming career. :P

This whole notion is like a 12-year-old finishing too fast...

Premature.
