because DBZ is the most popular, and well known of the 3, so they just name it DBZ, and ad DB, and DBGT characters into it...DBZ: Budokai 3, and all of the Tenkaiichi games have DBGT characters in itdante_123456

Yeah, that's the reason right there. DBGT wasn't popular enough to make it a game all by itself. I'm not entirely sure what the seperation was between DBZ and DBGT with regards to popularity, but I found myself not getting so into it even though the characters were more mature and it was a later evolution. Maybe it was my age...

I don't wait months, but if I can't beat a level I'll take a break for a few hours/days and come back later, and yeah, I find the level much easier. I think it gives you a fresh look at it, so you aren't trying to plow through in the same way. I try NEVER to read FAQ's or guides unless I'm convinced there's something wrong with the game or what I'm trying to do.

I too have been playing Gears lately, and it seems I'm using this tactic a lot!

The only time I play inverted is when I'm using a joystick. If I'm using my thumbs, I just think relatively, so forward is up, back is down. That's my twitch memory. I suppose if I forced myself to play inverted for a while, I could do it better, but I'd worry about messing it up, so I don't do it. As to why I play inverted on a joystick, it just feels more natural... other than that I have no reasons.

Well I know I'll be dissapointed if I'm disappointed at all this year... With games like Killswitch 2, Gears 2, Resistance 2, and a slew of new MMO titles, (not necessarily 2008, but close enough) I'm really hoping that they'll all be great, I try to be an optimist though... Try...

Wait wait wait...

I thought I've seen this topic several times, and this was the quote I've seen in all of them...

We'll bring the intensity of the recent Call of Duty: Modern Warfare title to a new military theatre to engage our significantly larger user base which nearly doubled last year as new users came into the franchise," - Griffith

Obviously "new military theatre" could be many things, including I suppose the German frontlines, but have they stated somewhere clearly that it IS going to be WW2 again???

RTS, FPS, and RPG in that order. I drool over combinations of any of those though! When done properly of course.

I do like the thumb drive idea.

The game itself wouldn't necessarily need to be on the drive though, just a portion of it. So a 16meg thumb drive, which would probably cost less than a three page color manual now a days, could hold a little key program with its own driver that needs to be present to run the game. Then again, pirates could probably find a way to emulate the usb drive, just like they've done with the cd drive, or cut out that code entirely. Then again, I'm neither a hardware buff, nor a hacker...

Eve would be my suggestion, they have some new features out and coming, so you could use this opportunity to get up to speed. AoC looks good as well, but I prefer SciFi games.

I'll just add in Sins of a Solar Empire. Compared to any other RTS, the scale is huge. The strategy sort of leaves a lot to be desired, but it's not bad. I'd also encourage you to check out the MMORTS genre, it's got some old gems that are lots of fun, and a few up and comers that should put the strategy back into RTS.

In order for a game like this to be sucessful, the studio producing it needs to have decent backing and background. Most of the time I get the feeling (even when it's a major title), that the two most useless guys on stage of the movie/tv show are told to come up with a plot for the game and work with the game devs... Either that or the game devs consist of one guy that actually saw the movie and 5 asians made up of random job histories and professions... Of course, going in the reverse flow, we have people like Uwe Boll, and his type is probably not limited to one direction (I can't decide if I meant to have a double entendre in there or not!)...
