First I hear that Terminator 4 is going to be PG-13 and now this... I think I might just have to kill someone! That'll prove that violence in video games doesn't breed violence in the streets!

No, just kidding, I can't stand this dulling of the industries edge... When will these companies learn that it's the mature crowd that actually has money...

:P

Or Dr Eggman; he has the head I would love to slap. :)

I couldn't think of one until I read the recent GoW2 hype and the above post. SONIC!!! I don't know why, but the little blue fuzz ball that for some reason continues to get work, annoys me to no end...

5) The fact that we can't hope for it to suck still sucks. We can't even root against it - if GOW2 is a rousing success, it's more likely that the game will be ported to the PC. No one ports games months later to another platform if they suck. Unless they're Sonic games, of course.

UpInFlames

My favorite one on the list ;)

Sonic sucks but he keeps coming back!!!

[QUOTE="KillOBKilled"]I don't know, I like my mouse and keyboard an aweful lot. Then again, to have the OPTION would be nice I guess...UpInFlames

You already have that option. Pretty much all PC games are compatible with any kind of controller you decide to stick in your PC.

Oh I know that, I'm just saying, they better not remove that option in future releases...

Probably too much... I mean not long enough (gotta put the gamer's pride hat on!). I average about 3-4 hours a day on weekdays. Maybe 4-6 on weekends (I try to have a life occationally...).

Well I keep playing it and it keeps impressing me. The only downside so far is that the weapons feel whimpy.NoAssKicker47

I did enjoy the 50's-60's atmosphere, mostly because it reminded me of Fallout, but yes, this means weapons that wilt in comparison to more modern era games. I thought the plasmids rather made up for this, but then again, my favorite combination was Blood Lust and Wrench lurker, *Thwack* yay more health for me.

Lol, I would love for someone to explain to me how they "miss" a game that is still very much alive! Personally, I'd like to see one of the new titles tople it, but still, if you miss it, play it!

Now, as for World of Warcraft the RTS, I wouldn't mind another one of those! However, with SC2 and WotLK coming out, I kind of doubt it. Maybe in 5 years :P

Warping around does get fairly tiring, but the great thing about EVE is that you dont have to play to advance your character. You can log off for a few days, and when you come back you find your skill training is all finished.mrbojangles25

That is very true, I'll admit, when I was playing it, I was still in college, now that I'm out, I'd have less time to play, so it may make skill training go faster!

I tried playing again, I just cant get into it. Id rather spend time playing X3.TheCrazed420

This was the other reason I shyed away from it. While the PvP is great, the combat system in general annoys me. I'd much rather have a joystick and thruster control. I understand why it is the way it is, to reduce server traffic, but I think instead of working on the new Ambulations system, which will give players actual human form avatars, I think working towards this end would be an even better use of their time...

Good decision. I loved the game. Yes I said "loved". While it is a great game, there's a point where it just feels like it drags. Mission after mission or travel time after travel time. However, I'm almost conviced if you know about these issues you can overcome them by planning, getting more involved with the community, and diversifying your characters, but I have yet to try. I played for four months, and left for said reasons, but I'm thinking of giving it another shot soon.
