I'm actually venting on how Epic overlooked all these problems because they adopted an awful thinking ethic now that the series has become a smash hit.
Oh then there's the slow matchmaking too...but I'm so glad that they sped it up. It was unbearable before that update. --- Lags a big problem too. In my opinion, Gears 3 should adopt Host swapping...
Ok, here's a tip. Most people dont know about this... You see, when you roadie run, you start to slow down the more you run. But if you roll and enter a roadie run, you keep running at terminal so this is how a lot of people get to where the good equipment spawns on the map first. The grenades on Jacinto are located in a room thats up another flight of stairs on your right OR left depending on which fraction you spawn as after you run up the first ones in front of you. The grenades on River ALWAYS spawn in a small house in front of you on your right when you first spawn. Another thing you have to know, is that grenades only spawn every OTHER round. On the first round for Jacinto, it will always be an Ink grenade. But on the next round, it will be a Frag Grenade. Gheddit nao?
...they fixed it. I'm not complaining about the problems directly. I'm complaining about how Epic over-looked it. A lot of people went back to playing the original Gears because of this and if you tried to confront Epic themselves on their boards, you'd get instantly banned and they'd continue denying it. They OBVIOUSLY knew it was a problem as thats why the update rolled in =) Maybe Cliffy B actually tried to play Execution on public and saw what we were talkin bouts!
