sounds great, but i wonder what this "unspecified collector's edition" contains, they can't really add too many extra characters or DLC, since it would unbalance the fighting mechanics and based on the fact that each character has "2 hours of story". hmm... thoughts?
they're probably just waiting to finish their DLC, for the American/Europe versions, then release the game with the message "if you want to kill the last dragon, you must un-lock the Dragonfire Shield via $30 dollar DLC, have a nice day"thanks for killing off the last franchise I actually still had hopes of you doing well with. i bought a wii just to play tri, and the graphics were the same as my old ps2 one and psp... lazy ass devs.
i for one usually love collector's edition of my favorite games, but that was when they were usually just an extra 20 bucks and came with a nice artbook or bonus DLC... but this just seems like junk, the steelbook for pre-ordering was nice tho, but this CE stuff does not = 60 dollars extra value.
this 7 million estimates includes a collector's version, standard version, launch day dlc, gold version rehash with said dlc included (they can save money since it'll be the same shit on the standard disc, just unlocked, they like doing that), and of course post gold edition dlc, leading to a possible platinum all inclusive ultimate edition? dream on capcom.
haven't bought a single capcom since re5 and marvel vs capcom 3... if they ever do bring monster hunter over to the states tho... i'll try and tolerate their dlc crap and assume that if there is a collector's edition, it'll get replaced by a gold or super edition a month later...
