This is really, REALLY starting to piss me off.
Playing in Act III, on the second floor of a dungeon, a good hour of playing nearing the end of the floor. Die, and instead of being put back to the entrance of the second level with the whole map revealed, it kicks me back to town. I use the teleport, and it sends me to the entrance with nothing. I mean, what the F**K? This has happened numerous times (about five so far), and it's seriously pissing me off. I can handle disconnections, death by lag, stuttering, but this is ridiculous. I don't like having to play for another hour for something I just did. I don't know if this design is inherent to the game for online only, but it's absurd and very poorly done.
Goddamn. The more I play this, the worse these technical issues become. Thanks for allowing me to save my game when I wish Blizzard so this wouldn't happen. Real progress. Lost more like it.

Usually you get checkpoint every time you go to a new floor. Maybe you've just been bugged out?
