Falling asleep at midnight? CrazyI often wonder why people go to those. Is it really to see people dressed up like movie characters? Why not go at a time when you aren't in dange of falling asleep?

[QUOTE="Klipsh"][QUOTE="Ballroompirate"]She was right with the review, but she made it seem like it was a 9. In that she had only glowing things to say about the gameplay and her only complaints were about launch-time server stability and RPG aesthetics? Haven't read the written review, but from the video review, she says nothing but praise except for maybe a 30 second rant on being online always.just watched the GS video review, normally I hate carolyns reviews but she was spot on with the review (though I personally give the game a 9).

What's with the "convert" business? Why do people think we can only game on one thing? :?starjet905Some people take systems to be like a religion.
Based off that review, it seems like a a 9 would be more fitting. Doesn't matter to me though, the game is fvcking awesome and I would still play it even if it got a subpar score.
The secret pony level looks awesome. I must find all the required pieces now.
[QUOTE="MrGeezer"][QUOTE="peterw007"] Exactly. My parents are upper middle class, and they have two Toyotas, a beautiful two-story home right on the ocean, and a condo in Florida. Owning obnoxiously expensive cars like Porsches is a definite sign of not only the upper class...but also of snobbery.peterw007*shrugs* I've known people who've owned "obnoxiously expensive" cars, and yet they still came off as overall good people. That being said, you don't get a Porsche unless you want to show off. There's nothing inherently wrong with that, and one can publicly display their wealth without being a jackass. Mostly, I just wanted to state that I'd be afraid to get a car like that, even if I WAS super-rich. Cars like that scream "wealth", and we all know that there are lots of people who hate wealthy people. If I drove a Porsche, I'd constantly be afraid of people keying it or hitting it with eggs and paint. There a couple of brands out in Manhattan that I see frequently: Rolls-Royce, Porsche, Ferrari. I feel disgusted every time I walk by those cars. What person really needs to spend 200 grand on a car? If I were filthy rich, I'd get something decent and a chauffeur. This is just ridiculous.
So driving yourself around is a sign of snobbery, but having a chauffeur isn't?
[QUOTE="-Sun_Tzu-"][QUOTE="airshocker"]smh 1% trying to fit in with the 99% Exactly. Owning obnoxiously expensive cars like Porsches is a definite sign of not only the upper class...but also of snobbery. How is it a sign of snobbery? They worked hard to earn their money so they should be able to spend it on luxurious items.Lets be honest, you're not "upper middle class" if your parents got you a porsche.

So are a lot of people in this thread.
If you see Jay Wilson in the hallways, kick him in the balls for me, will ya?
It's actually funny how mad you are.[QUOTE="NAPK1NS"]The story isn't mindblowing, but that is never the point of a Blizzard game.trollop_scat
I beg to differ. The SP campaign story in WC3 was awesome, Arthas is one of the best characters in video game history.
Diablo's ending was dark and foreboding, and D2's ending was a real cliffhanger.
D3's story was comical and the levels were all streamlined corridors.
Why... WHYYY are some of you guys defending this PoS!? By doing so you're encouraging them to make more of the same. Since Blizz has gone to this all-Bnet crap (SC2, D3, probably Wow I wouldn't know) their games have been major disappointments. And I can prove it:
How many people do you suppose will buy SC2's expansion(s)? I regrettably bought SC2, but prefer WC3 to this day. I sure as hell won't be purchasing any of the SC2 XPs. Same holds true for D3. I've been informed that I probably won't be able to get a refund for D3, which is kinda sad but at the same time I'm officially done with Activision-Blizzard. I can't wait to see what a casualized, mainstream joke "Titan" turns out to be.
As people grow up, they change, and not always for the better. Same goes with game devs it seems. I'll never hype another Act/Blizz game again, I should've learned my lesson after SC2 but I guess I needed to be spanked twice. I doubt they'll publish another M rated game, or anything that would remotely interest me in the future...
I'll buy two copies of each expansion pack.
