Are they counting the civilians that would just be running around in some areas? Because those cases it was purely your own decision if they lived or died so I don't think they should count. Most of the civilians it was necessary to kill to progress such as the guy on the wall near Helios, or just unforeseen consequences of killing gods such as the flood from killing Poseidon or the plague from killing Hermes. The only unnecessary killing of a civilian I can remember is in GOS when he drops a block on a guy trapped in a crack in a wall.

@HipHopBeats Well there's secondary weapons that can be picked up, a new kind of rage meter, a new temporal power, new enemy types, new part of the story, no prompt minigames, multiplayer and elephant brains. And that's just what we've seen so far. As for how easy it is, that's what difficulty settings are for.

@Scorpion1813 The only time we get to play as Kratos when he was the God of War, was GOS (possibly) and the early part of GOW2 and even then his power had been reduced. He was born a demigod (which he was unaware of until GOS/GOW2). He became a full god at the end of either GOW1/GOS. In GOW2, he was stripped of all his godly powers and made mortal, which he remained until his (attempted?) suicide in GOW3. In most games, the powers he uses are granted to him by weapons, items, gods or titans. He never seemed to really have any powers of his own.

If you're talking about the Blades of Chaos, he got them when he swore to serve Ares which was shown in a cutscene in GOW1.

@immortality20 This confused me at first too but according to a story description I found on Gamestop, it's set 6 months after he kills Lysandra and Calliope. He's chained in some prison being tortured by Furies after breaking his oath to Ares.

The only directly movie-based game I can remember playing that was any good was Wolverine. And that wasn't even really accurate to the movie, it was just good enough to make up for being inaccurate. This is coming from the makers of Call of Duty though, so I doubt they'd know a quality game if it bit them in the ass.

@xoxStriker7xox Much as I'd love to see BF3 as well, I wouldn't hold my breath. They had it partially done years ago from what I've heard but then some dumbasses screwed it up and the devs went under. We'll probably see BF3 around the time we see Timesplitters 4. Which will probably be around the same time Ol' Palpy starts giving out free bantha rides on a frozen over Tatooine.
