@isshiah Yeah but it was a victim of what I've come to call 'Shiny Turd Syndrome'. Basically meaning it has great graphics and gameplay, but the story problems and other factors (in this case several problems with the challenges, misleading ads bordering on false advertising, nearly a total lack of lightsaber battles and varied locations) make it barely worth playing. God of War 3 (weapons were too similar, artsy cutscenes sucked and the story was terrible) and inFamous 2 (the so-called 'good' and 'evil' choices usually seemed more like 'pro-human' or 'pro-conduit' choices, also seemed to imply religion is good and evolution is evil) being a couple other examples of this spreading gaming disease.

@Lostinthebliss BF2 was great but the first Force Unleashed game was awesome. Second one was crap though.

@scottyp360 I know how you feel about the lego games. Seems like there's a lego game for most popular series' now. It somewhat saddens me to think that most people (likely kids) that play the lego games have probably never even touched a real lego now. I think Harley Quinn could beat damn near anyone Joker could. I've always just seen her as a female version of the Joker. If no one else, she could at least beat Robin. I agree that MK vs. DC sucked balls and that they should just make a Justice League game (and maybe movie). The game could be kinda a DC version of Marvel: Ultimate Alliance. Now if we can get a Marvel fighting game and maybe eventually get a Marvel vs DC fighting game which could maybe even use some Amalgam characters.

@vtuitt3 Mass Effect 3 was blatantly falsely advertised, which is sadly becoming more common. The Force Unleashed 2 for example or even Dragon Age. Don't get me wrong, I loved DA: Origins but the trailers didn't feature much of anything accurate to the game.

I agree with you on just about everything except that changes, even if positive, are an admission that the original work is not valuable. Positive changes just make it more valuable IMO. But sometimes what's positive is debatable. For example, with Star Wars special edition trilogy, the only thing I had a problem with and considered a negative change was the appearance of Hayden Christensen as Anakin's spirit at the end of RotJ. It was bad enough he was in the prequel trilogy. If the creators can go back fix things that they couldn't do the way they wanted the first time around, why shouldn't they? Adding in the scene with Han and Jabba in the original Star Wars added some depth to that angle. I do agree that fan input shouldn't matter so much to them unless it's pointing out bloopers in a movie they could correct or glitches in a game they could fix.

the biggest problem with this idea is that alot of people want a fighting game to fit into an inaccurate form of balance. This inaccurate balance system kills the point and renders the outcome meaningless. Powers will get dumbed down to ridiculously weak levels and likely affect every character the exact same way destroying alot of the individuality of the characters. Just look at DC vs. MK for example. or practically any fighting game involving any character superior to a normal human. If you can kill Superman with a series of shin kicks, the idea is massively flawed. Not saying it can't still be fun sometimes, but I think it'd be more fun if it was accurate. Give certain characters the appropriate vulnerabilities and immunities. For example, with Superman, regular bullets should be completely ineffective and a kryptonite bullet if aimed properly could get a 1 hit kill.

For me, Dragon's Dogma on PS3. I have both systems but prefer the PS3 controller and I usually prefer action/adventure type games over shooters.

@Dinichtys @VampireLord123 If mods still work, I'm fine with having to be online. Still, I'll probably wait awhile anyway til an expansion comes out, people make some mods and the price goes down.

I really hate to say this but no offline single player, no buy for me. That was the only way I really enjoyed playing. I loved the hero editor for D2. My necromancer could have an entire army of undead minions instead of just a handful. I could make godly gamebreaking characters. I could set something to summon Diablo, Mephisto and Ba'al anytime I got hit and just watch the carnage. It was so satisfying having them as minions. Shame...I was really looking forward to the witch doctor.

Because the 'Average Joe' doesn't fight to save things/people or do much of anything good or even exciting. They accept screwed up things and people as they are. The idea that they could actually change important things for the better in the real world mostly on their own if they put their mind to it, baffles them. They just bend over and complain as they get screwed, but make little-to-no effort to actually get out of their screwed up situation. The 'Average Joe' will be useless until he decides not to be average or until the quality of average is raised. Just look at all the crap the government gets away with and the most people do to object is walk around holding signs. Not that there's much more they can do as long as the government has all the weapons. I wonder if the 'Average Joe' would finally be motivated to do something if the government declared the people as enemies?
