Well my motherboard is a Intel Desktop Board D915GEV and it says DDR2 533 / 400 SDRAM: Four slots, dual channel (4gb max)

Will my new ram work with it?

Is installing ram just inserting it into the motherboard? Is it that easy? No disks or drivers or anything?

If that was my dad I wouldn't trust him doing anything with my computer. Motherboards support anywhere from 8gb,16gb,to 32gb (server board). I am currently running 2gb of ram in my machine. baddogjmh

To tell u the truth, i never really did trust him doing anything with my computer...when i get my new video card and ram, im gonna get my friends dad to help me or take it into the store where i got my computer.

Ok so me and my brother were talking about this last night while playing halo 3.

We were saying if graphics came to the point where you cant tell if its real or a game, that wouldnt make things look as good, in our point of view...real life isnt as colorfull and shiny and cool looking, its pretty dull, but while playing halo 3, i noticed that i didnt want graphics to advance very much more, maybe better voice acting or w/e but i like it how it is...
What do you think?
