As for platforming, SMG has R&C by a mile. Mario is a great platformer.

At the end of the day, I think they're too different to compare. I mean, you take away the cartoony feel from Ratchet, I dont think anybody would be comparing these two games. I mean, Uncharted has platforming sequences, but no one compares it to SMG.
