I am utterly repulsed by animu. Everything about it is offensive to pretty much all of my senses. Don't come at me with B B B BUT IT'S NOT ALL BAD T_T because I'm not hearing it.

I despise the way anime is drawn, the way it's animated, the OH LOOK IT'S JAPANESE!! IT'S SO KAWAII DESU!! ^________^ attitude of it's fanboys, the ridiculous nature of 90% of animu plotlines, and most of all, I hate the way people keep telling me that animu X is so amazing and that "it's not like the other ones!!11"

I've tried watching pretty much all the so called "good" ones in the vague hope that I may just one day come across something that doesn't make me want to vomit, but quite frankly I find the Japanese culture references that feature in pretty much all of them bar a few, to be so utterly pointless and irrelevant to me, that I just stop giving a toss, and go back to the stuff I like. I'm gay and I thought the movie was rubbish.

To me, it got so much attention because it was a high profile movie with SHOCK HORROR, gay cowboys in it. If it had been about straight love, no-one would have batted an eyelid.

I'm sick of my community and sexuality being used as a ratings grabber.
