@billlabowski I hear every vehicle handles differently. I thought GTA 4s handling was okay, Some claim it was realistic (But honestly it wasnt). And Bad textures is to be expected anyway.
@xReincarnationx @GezForce @Zain884 The cloud would be powerful, if everyone in the world had Fiber Optic connections, but the reality is they dont.
That processing power that microsoft claims is revolutionary, is only going to be useful if the user can send and receive 100mb worth of information back in forth quickly. Latency and Ping is also a factor. How fast is your internet connection???
Compare that to my CPU and GPU in my PC that can process the same amount of information without any lantency, and can process atleast 20,000mb worth of information at a time. The whole "Revolutionary Cloud Computing" Is nothing more than a PR thing to hype up the idiots who know know anything about computers.
@grove12345 Except anybody with a half a brain and general knowledge about computers know this whole "Cloud" Thing is a bunch of Bullcrap. Its completly reliant on your internet connection speed. And even if you are able to send and receive 2-5mb of data per second on a decent internet connection speed....a good video card and processor can do the same thing but many times faster....at around 20,000mb worth of data every second.
@xReincarnationx @spectreSE7EN Yeah, My 2 year old PC can run games at 60fps in full 1680x1050 resolution. While the Xbox One on the other hand struggles to hold 30fps? Seems rather pathetic if you ask me.
@TheNightMammoth @RicanV I remember a time when it wasnt soo much this way. Sure there were a few here and there out there...Then the 360 and PS3 come along and things just get out of hand...Is it just this new younger generation who is like this? I was around these "whiny kids" age when the PS2 and Xbox came out and never felt entitled to anything. Just had fun playing challenging games.
@sirchick @Kooken58 @onixevil @bunchanumbers @xhawk27 I was talking about gaming not simply watching a TV.
Like I said, Remote Processing of Games through the cloud is a Long way off. The Xbox isnt going to magically become more powerful due to the cloud anytime soon. The most it could do is some background calculations to free up some of the memory usage to do more on the spot tasks.
But that would also mean that if a developer chooses to use this technology, it would mean that you would be forced to play the game online at all times, or else it wont run very effectively.
Keyword is potential, But Dont buy into any of that BULLSHIT....You are completly limited by your connection and the amount of Data you can Send and Receive. Say you have a 20mb Connection. You can probably Recieve around 3 or 4mb Of data a second? And send roughly about 2mb or so. Compared to my Graphics card that is a pathetic amount.
Your average graphics card can Process around 20,000mb worth of data each second. Now until we are all running off Fiber Optic connections, The Cloud Computing thing is nothing but a Pipe Dream.
