Your 360 will be in your attic in a year? I still have my N64 connected to my TV and will continue to do so for as long as it runs. I prefer physical copies but if digital is the only way I can go then I'll buy it and continue to play it years after the console has become obsolete.
I think I know why people take issue with the comparison of a console to a handheld, they're looking for a winner or the one they should buy so when the platforms are not alike why compare? Here's the thing though, it's just kind of interesting to see how good or bad handheld graphics actually are.
@incrediblmullet I'm playing it at the moment and I was thinking I'd also be slightly disappointed but I was completely wrong. Even my girlfriend who played for the first time last year thinks it's amazing. Ocarina of Time is simply an amazing game. :D
My concern about a brain-machine-brain interface for gaming is ability to create sensation. Would it be possible for a game company to screw up and make something actually painful? And what about hackers? No I'm not saying they could hack your thoughts but they could force you to feel sensations which you'd prefer not to.
@Kyrylo If you're a woman who makes a game and people don't like it you shouldn't then be attacked because you're a woman. This is the issue; when a male dev makes something that doesn't appeal to people nothing happens, if a female dev does it people accuse women of being incapable of making games. That's the sexism.
I'd also like to add that I quite enjoyed it. Just because it's not your cup of tea doesn't make it bad, I'm not interested in Assassin's Creed but that doesn't make it a bad game.
Just played through the entire thing. It represents depression very well and I found myself really caring for and identifying with my character. My one complaint is the end just comes out of nowhere. In my play through my character was making positive steps in their life and beginning to open up and then suddenly there was a time skip and the period in between was described as being rather terrible. Not a good way to inspire people to get treatment.
I'd suggest that the game is unfinished and I'd like them to expand upon this so that there is light at the end of the tunnel even if you do suffer some set backs along the way. If they managed that then I'd consider it a good game.
@XCyberForceX Electronic companies always have a predicted failure rate which they then deem acceptable. It's usually based on the idea of balancing production cost with replacement cost and consumer dissatisfaction. They then design their product for the failure rate which will least affect their bottom line.

@locknuts84 SMB was only a launch title in the US because the NES was released in the US 2 years after it was in Japan. Does it still count as a launch title?
