@Acardorin Well said. I was going to mention this in my comment as well but felt it was long enough as it was. But I also feel the same way that Sony isn't going to offer much in the way of innovation either. That's not a slam against them or anything, but as I said, what more can they possibly do?

Was anybody really expecting anything life-changing? Yes, it's been 7-8 years since the industry has gotten new consoles, and yes it does "feel" like time for next gen, but seriously what more can they really do but show off beefier tech and higher multiplayer counts in games? Like it not consoles are plateauing. Don't expect to see monumental or game changing innovations from here on out. It's going to boil down to the tech, plain and simple. I'm not trying to sound pessimistic about this but just being pragmatic.
