I use windows media player 11. When your PS3 is on and connected to your network click 'library'>'media sharing' in WMP11. The PS3 should be automatically recognised(might register as unknown). Select 'allow' so your PS3 has access to your files. You can only stream whatever files are in your WMP library. Your PS3 should then display new WMP icons under picture/music/video within the XMB. Works like a charm and was surprisingly easy to set up.

GoW 2 HAS been announced but nothing shown. Halo 3 actually has a good single player with a deep story unlike GoW with a crappy campaign mode with NO story at all. Really cmon, Halo should NEVER be compared to GoW, it is insulting to Halo.

no one said its not hard to make games, but its the princibalaties of the situation here, they said one things and basically went back on their statement and added to another console what they said was not possible to do. so now ps3 fans paid 60$ for a now incomplete game compared to what the xbox is going to get. Man i dont even like he game honestly but i just hate things like this, its just bad bussiness and to do this to the consumer that really pays your bils is crazy. if they would have just came out and said PSN is not at the level to provide what xbox live is therefore it will only be online or xbx than at least they were honest, nw its like they just greedy and that the bottom line.
