i was on yesterday for the first time in a while since my BCBF2 has been acting up and it was not bad at all, its a fun game and you can get it for like 5$ on ebay these days
They say its a stats server overload which is completely retarded to me, cut off the stat websites as long as you can see it in the game and i would be happy. Yesterday it did that to me to and i waited a couple seconds in game and all the sudden all my weapons and rank and all came right back and worked all night. just have to give it a chance or a couple restarts for right now. its been happening since 21 December which is pissing me off since that is plenty of time to figure out a fix if you know the problem, i love this game too but if they dont find a fix it shows me they dont care about their fans
I dont think it will suck at the moment it will really depend on the MP. Singleplayer never made this game its always been about the online. Confrontation was not all that bad if it would have been as advertised at release and a few other tweeks here and there. No one will admit this but the same people that are complaining now complained about socom 2 when it came out but now socom 2 is just not as bad as it once seemed since all other socom releases. Its still the Best socom and Sony and Zipper could easily make millions just remaking an HD version, they would just need to work out the servers.
I think you will see a $249 PS3 sometime this year. They really have to do something to compete more with the Xbox in North America. The $100 gift cards over the holidays were a great deal. Quite a few stores had them.

the ps2 had a 10 year lifecycle and i would imagine so will the ps3, its a good time to buy now but in a couple months i bet there will be a 50$ price cut if you want to wait a bit longer and for a slim.

Yah i opened mine to get it out and was out of warranty but i was told by sony they may or may not fix it. Its pretty easy to get the game out its another story putting it all back together sometimes. But take out the game becuase they do not send games back i have heard only like a credit for the game
I dont own those but to me thats WAYYYY more than you need to game on the PS3 unless you feel like you need to spend that much, can spend that much and are just a PRO gamer or some crap. i spend 64$ on Turtlebeach PX21 and they are awesome Amazon check them out you will see reviews on those headphones too
