Monitors count? Well when I did my build in late 2009 I upgraded my monitor to a Sony VW85 projector and 110' screen. With the rest of the system (Dual 570s, i7 970, 24 GB DDR3, auxiliary screen, Cosmos case, 1050 revo PSU etcetc)......That build topped 10g's easy. And yes, the PC was built to play with/On that projector so they went hand in hand. My new build was in the $4000 range total. 27" Apl Cinema, dual 780s, 4770, 24GB DDR3, Asus z87 Expert, new mouse new keyboard blah blah. Certainly not the top of the heap but....its a fair amount to spend. On a side note GTA 5....gonna be so much better at 100'!

My 4770 was running in the high 80s with the Intel cooler while under heavy load. Grabbed a nice Zalman, now she tops at about 65-70c at most. Niiice. Any time a CPU gets over 90c its to hot. I would check the cooler and then check the thermal compound, make sure its a good amount (not to much not to little) and that the HSF and CPU have good contact.

[QUOTE="KyleGates"]

You can NEVER have to much storage, but my server is up to just under 20TB so Im good fer now.

comp_atkins
lol what are you storing? hundreds of hd movies?

Yes sir. Don't worry i own each and every one. I rip em all to my server then use Plex, Twonky and Serviio to "sling" em wherever I like. Compression saves some space but the few (30 or so) the I have uncompressed are huge! Avatar is over 50gigs .......

Ugh.....the answer is NO, you do not need to overclock and further, with no overclock, the stock HSF will be just, fine.

Um, have you tired, calling Newegg?  They run into this issue a lot (different manufactures putting Windows keys in odd places) and generally they have the info as to where the key is located.

VERY pleased that so many companies are coming out with entry level VR products because its pushing that industry forward.  I do still think we are a WAYS from a fully fleshed out/functional system but its still great to see.

But, the best reason to fund is still...to get an early one and sell er.  Oculus?  I nabbed 3, sold each for $650 or more...gogo kickstarter!

A bit worrying as I beat you with my 680's I just sold. Your 780's 11643 My 680's 12198 Weird

Well A- they ARE synthectic and I never put TOO much stock in em. And B- I didnt exactly run off a clean boot or nuthin. Oh well, you win.......Id still guess youd trade me two 680s for two 780s any day.
