I am sorry for the original post. It was late at night after the GameSpot livestream last night and I kind of rushed this entire process. Thank you LJChronx and Defy_The_Fallen for pointing out my obvious mistake. Hopefully my edit to it will make my intentions more clear and true. I only wish to expand the VGC community by helping out those in other forums. GameSpot came to me from their very good quality livestream. Their efforts in it inspired me to come here and help out, and the comments I received made me realize I need to not involve the team I work with and do this all by myself. Now to reply to DealRogers. What exactly are you attempting to do to defeat this team? Is it a certain VGC doubles team you have encountered that you have not been able to successfully counter and win against? If so, there are certain things I notice about this team. For one, there is a blaring weakness to ice, and two of them are 4x. You don't specifically need an ice type to deal with this. Any Pokemon with the move Ice Beam could work for these, such as Cresselia or Ludicolo. I would recommend Cresselia, because with its bulk it can take a hit from Gengar and also take it out. Cresselia can also deal with Skarmory (poor special defenses) if you choose to run Hidden Power Fire, which is a very good common move to use on a offensive Cresselia because its biggest threat is Scizor, but with HP Fire it can easily take it out. The only thing Cress can't deal with is Blissey, but you can really deal with that with any physical Pokemon (as its special defenses are poor) or a Fighting type. As you can see by Cress being able to deal with all but one guy on the team, it isn't the best. On the other hand, if you are trying to MAKE a team with these, I recommend not. The fact that Cresselia can do so much is just sad, as it is one of the most common Pokemon to use in this current metagame. That is all. Continue to ask or e-mail me questions you have. My goal is to try to create more VGC players, as the more the merrier is always true for VGC competitions, inside or outside official events.BlitznBurst

Very nice post Blitzn. I assume you are genuine as your attitude seems like you truely want to help.

Thats lame. Should be about 20% less when you get digital. I mean come on, no packaging, no distribution cost (atleast very very low).

Toxic-Seahorse

Yeah but you need server space that can be accessed by thousands of people downloading the game. That isn't cheap.

Yeah but the server space has to be cheaper than paying for packaging (SD cards, instruction manuals, cases, ect.) and distribution (thank of the cost of gasoline for the trucks/airplanes, employees to deliver them, ect.) for MILLIONS of units. I agree with a previous poster that Nintendo probably has an agreement with retailers that digital atleast wont be cheaper than the retail copy their selling. And 100 extra coins isnt enough to keep me from having the box on my shelf.

Sounds a bit like the old Legacy of Kain games.

While everyone enjoys help from an expert, it does just look like a giant advertisment. Plus you obviously just created an account for this.

Resident Evil: Revelations

Tales of Abyss

New Super Mario Bros. 2

Slashkice

At least subconsciously, it seems you already know the answer. This is the order in which you should buy the games.

Yeah this guy has got it right. You are already playing an RPG and are going to buy Pokemon soon. So thats alot of RPG hours to burn through. Get Tales at some point (great game), but everyone should have RE:R. Hands down the best game on the sytem (Im not including the Zelda remake, cuz most of us have beatin it multiple times already).
