Yeah a 3DS is compatible with DS download play through the regular download play app on the homescreen. It has a DS option which kinda fills me with nostalgia as it loads up the same download play screen the DS had.

Wow, thats pretty cool. I didnt know 3DS's and DS's could talk to each other.

I cant answer your question, cuz I dont have the game. However, go over to gamefaqs.com (gamespot's sister site) and there will be an individual forum dedicated to the game, instead of a general 3DS forum. Someone will be able to answer your question over there.

About 40 hours in, on my first playthrough, and have had no freeze up problems. I guess I better watch out on my second playthrough though.

Thanks for the responses guys. Good feedback. If they can patch the game up, then we should be good to go. Cant wait. Maybe some of the game will already have patchs for it when it comes out in the US. Very excited about its potential.

I'm downloading the demo right now. I had no idea there was a demo.. Is it only for Europe, perhaps?Litchie

How's the demo? Like the $30 price on Amazon. I just noticed that too. Might pre-order this one.

Normally I would throw in The World Ends With You here, but recently the price has skyrocketed. Amazon wants at least $45 right now.

Also, is anyone else sick of looking for DS games on Amazon, and having to wade through 90 "Game only" sellers before getting to someone that will sell you the freaking BOX, too?

ItsEvolution

Wow...that just happened in the last couple of weeks. Wow...wow. I almost bought less than a month ago on Amazon for $20. Wish I did. Im going to have to look into this further.

Well everyone listed good genres so Im not going to list that. Instead I want more online games. The 3DS is perfect for that with wifi being available almost everywhere you go these days. I love playing MK7 online. Mario Open Tennis got bad reviews, but the online still tempts me to buy the game. I really want a deeper online experience. Hopefully Heroes of Ruin lives up to the hype and encourages more developers to add some of their features. We have a mic on the 3DS for a reason right, then why doesnt every game offer online voice chat? They should. Drop in/drop out multiplayer? I want more of that. The list goes on and on from there. It just seems that the 3DS is a perfect platform for this kind of gaming.

Maybe if they did a good job polishing it for the 3DS. As a poster above said, 3D fatalities could be awesome. I havent played a MK game since MK2 in the arcades and on my Genesis, but boy did I love it back then. I think it probably deserves another chance from me.

Well maybe they saw the publics bad reaction to the demo and went back to work on the game. Of course delaying it in the process, but its better to do it right.

[QUOTE="Haziqonfire"]Tales of the Abyss imo is boring. The story is predictable, characters are boring, it's too repetitive and the combat is uninteresting and doesn't evolve past being a button masher. It's not that hard of a game for the most part. It's a long game though, you'll definitely get your money's worth. Kid Icarus is pretty long too, the campaign is about 12 hours long and longer if you replay levels on higher difficulties to get more rewards. You can also unlock a bunch of things in the game, which takes a long time to do. The game also has a good multiplayer mode that will last you some time. In terms of gameplay, Kid Icarus was a lot more interesting and fun in my opinion. hydralisk86

That's what i thought about the Bold, but someone told me if you know how to use Field of Fonons, it will help with future battle rather than just relying on button mashing, because it gets harder later on.

Oh yeah, theres alot more to it than button mashing with the FoF's, especially later in the game and on higher difficulty levels. I love the game. I cant really comment on Kid Icarus as I wont get it due to the stylus controls (MP:H was a very painful experience for me that I will never do again.)
