Enslaved is flashy, short, and shallow. The plot is underwhleming with a terrible ending, and the characters are walking cliches with little development, but they're both presented well thanks to the great motion capture and voice-acting. Platforming, if it can even be labeled as such in Enslaved, is the definition of hand-holding - there is but one path through areas and failure is practically impossible. The combat is like any button-masher, there are a few options for variety but for the most part you'll stick to one combo throughout the game. Visually the game is pretty, but things get uglier past the halfway point - just a personal quip though. Screentearing and framerate issues are apparent, but not game-breaking. Also, the game is over in a few hours and there's really no reason to replay it unless you want to go back for some trophies. Haven't played the DLC so can't comment on that.
I wouldn't put Enslaved anywhere near a top 24 list - the game is a rental at best if you're interested.
