This video should never have been released .... now i am REALLY confused, get a 360 or a PS3 ?

I just saw Heavenly Sword new pics+video, the art is amazing, i can't recall seeing anything like it on 360, same goes for FF13, that art style in forest video was amazing, and again the art in White Knight is over ANY 360 game i have seen to date, better than oblivion IMO too

Can you point any 360 game that does not look a bit like Gear a bit ? Even Mass Effect has many browns and dark mood, it just feels to have mediocre art style, same goes in a lesser extend for Bioshock

So, does 360 have anything to match the art styles in Heavenly Sword, Lair, White Knight and FF13 ?

The game certainly looks graphically on par with whats out currently and whats still to come. Lets hope that the game plays well and proves it isn't a GOW rip off by showing some originality. The devs also announced they would be using the six-axis for 'aftertouch' effects (eg. steering projectiles and combat in slow motion) volcus

It definatly looks cool, the scale  is amazing and the detail seems far better than Lair, which is a barren land or sea

if this comes before Mass Effect, i get a PS3, if Mass Effect comes first, i get a 360, let's see what happens

BTW wasn't that supposed to be a Europena launch title ?

It would be totally possible, since they would not have to remake a new engine, dialog system, animations, setting, characters etc etc, just new content that would take only half or less the efford

If ME2 comes in 2008, will be at the years end though, not before

I just saw that Heavenly Sword video .... i am speachless, now i am at zero again, the PS3 just got 100x better

Slow pc's will always tear in all videos, you definatlycan tell if it is the game or the video in any case, come 24 Augaust we will know

All you people that played a PS3 in gamestop or Best Buy etc. Thats not called experincing the PS3. Experiencing the PS3 is playing it with freinds or alone at home on your chair or couch. Not standing and playing demos and judging a system based on that.

BTW This is comming for a Xbox 360 owner.

I am between a PS3 and 360 myself, but i found out two games that brought 360 far ahead, and that both will nto be for PS3 as it seems, Mass Effect and Bioshock, especially Bioshock is the next best thing i have seen to Resident Evil series, i just can't wait for it, as for Mass Effect, i loved kotor so i guess this will be another must have

I can't say there is anything like those on PS3 in the near future, correct me if i am wrong

I said in the near future, not what my grand grand children get to play, of course if they nail a FF13 release date in early 2008 (for US), i might consider going for PS3 instead of 360, but i just do not see it happening, since there is not even a hint about the japaneze release date

That is why i will buy nothing until this GDC, if FF13 news come, ok, PS3 gets better, if not, well, 360 is the only choice
