Well yesterday I went over a freind's house who just bought a PS3 recently. He bought Resistance and got Fight Night Round 3 from gamefly. First of all I have to say that the controller is so light , I really liked that. We played Resistance co-op and I must say that Resistance is a really fun game. I personally liked the single player more than Gears.
    Then we started playing Fight Night Round 3. Although I played this game on my 360 and beat it, it is still a great game on the 360.  It was still a really fun game and it looks even better on the PS3. Overall PS3 is a great system. In the near future I will definatly buy one.
    PS3 fans should be really happy because they have a very good and fun system. Sure it may not have the strongest game line-up right now, but what console did in its first 3-4 months. I know the 360 didn't really have alot of games at that time in its life- span also. Ps3 will be a great console with plenty of good games. Both Xbox Fans and Playstion fans should be very happy with both of their systems.
    All you people that played a PS3 in gamestop or Best Buy etc. Thats not called experincing the PS3. Experiencing the PS3 is playing it with freinds or alone at home on your chair or couch. Not standing and playing demos and judging a system based on that.

BTW This is comming for a Xbox 360 owner.

I am between a PS3 and 360 myself, but i found out two games that brought 360 far ahead, and that both will nto be for PS3 as it seems, Mass Effect and Bioshock, especially Bioshock is the next best thing i have seen to Resident Evil series, i just can't wait for it, as for Mass Effect, i loved kotor so i guess this will be another must have

I can't say there is anything like those on PS3 in the near future, correct me if i am wrong

In the new EGM they have a short interview with a Guereilla representive directly and he stated there will be a gameplay trailer coming early march and a real demo coming in may!!! He then was asked by egm editor if the game looks like the trailer and he said, quote "The more you talk the more people expect, but yes the game will definitly look as good graphically like in the trailer and other aspects already exceed the trailer!!!"  OMG This could be the definitive flagship title that puts Sony and the PS3 back on the map!!! And keep in mind this is coming straight from the horses mouth, this is coming straight from a dev at Guerilla. Ok, i am no expert, but no real time graphics can surpass a ...pre-rendered video. i think this will take some more decades to become reality, if not longer, if PS3 could do CGI, FF13 would not have any videos in, right ? Then what good would blue ray be ?

Simply put, saying the game will be ... better than CGI is idiotic, but i doubt developers said so, they could not possibly be that stupid !!!

Isn't better textured games, far more appealing than a room with online friends ? I would take the textures anyday, still i am undecided what to get, PS3 or 360, i have waited until this March to decide, but i do not see PS3 getting any better to be frank, and as it seems neither Bioshock nor Mass effect will come to PS3 anytime soon

There IS screen tearing, and there is a performance cost for Vertical Sync, so we can expect the best-looking real-time graphics for any computer hardware either to show tearing or to show a frame rate lower than its maximum. 

Fortunately, it doesn't matter at all, and won't dissuade anyone who's actually interested in a game from buying it, playing it, and enjoying it.  It's funny how the hardware race in the console market over the last few years has made tastes so exacting.  One thing's for sure, it's only haters who would even bother to comment on something so benign.WeeWeeJumbo

Microsoft got Bioshock as an exclusive for xbox360 and 'games for windows'. I'll go get a link right now... Mass Effect is exclusive too, not likely to come to PS3 at all.

Ok, i think you covered me partly, as it seems it is more possible that they will not come to PS3 at any time :(, maybe soem sites just had rumors as facts it seems

I would love to have DMC4 and MGS4 with a PS3 this year, and wait for those games too, but now i might consider 360, it is far cheaper as well, which is an extra factor, and as i read it might just get to 360 at some point

PS3 is just a month away, maybe i should wait to see the reviews of the first games first ? Is there a chance for any game better looking than Bioshock or ME and as complex ?

As for ME i read that MS publishes it for 360, but they could always find another publisher for a PS3 version, plus they confirmed they are making a PS3 game, so why not be it ?

The latest preview shows some massive screen tearing to the point of annoyance.

There is also stuttering in the framerate at times.

Lemmings will say...."This will be fixed in the final product"

Lemmings said the same thing about MotoGP and Saints Row and guess what...The developers never fixed the screen tearing for those games.

Are you 100% sure it is not the video and the slow pc speed that causes the tearing ? Is it 100% confirmed this will be like in the game ?

I saw the latest Bioshock video, what a game !!! :)

I will just buy anything that it is on (360 seems the cheapest), will this one come to PS3 ?

Also is ME exclusive or time exclusive to 360 ?
